WannaLogin sets two cookies. Both are necessary for signing in to work at all, neither tracks you, and there is no third-party cookie and no analytics on any page here. That is why you have not been shown a banner: there is nothing on this page you could decline and still have a working sign-in.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
wannalogin_session | Identifies your session, so you are not asked for your password on every page. It holds nothing but a random identifier; everything about the session is kept on the server. It is marked HttpOnly, so no script can read it, and Secure wherever the service is reached over https. | Until you sign out, or the session expires |
XSRF-TOKEN | A random value this page reads and sends back with anything that changes your account. A page on another site can make your browser send a request here, but it cannot read this cookie, so it cannot produce a matching value. That is what stops somebody else changing your password by getting you to open a link. | For the browser session |
Signing out removes the session on the server and the cookie in the browser. Clearing cookies in your browser has the same effect from this end: the next page asks you to sign in again. It does not end sessions on your other devices, which you can do from the security screen in your account.
